The 16 Best Inflatable Paddle Boards In 2023:

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is one of the more popular sub-categories of paddleboarding. It’s been popularized in Hawaii and is now making waves on other surfing hotspots. It’s a pretty relaxing (and ironically, thrilling) sport. They have risen in popularity over the years, and have become the choice of hobby or pastime for most people.

I’ve become attached to them and have been trying out different types of inflatable paddle boards. Blow up types are just one of them. To help you out, I’ve reviewed the best inflatable paddleboard to date.

Our Inflatable SUP Board Reviews

1. Roc Inflatable Paddle Board – The Best Value Inflatable Paddle Board in 2023

Roc Inflatable Paddle Board

Roc knows exactly how to make a board that gives professionals full control and, at the same time, be accessible to beginners. No matter your skill level, you will enjoy your summer vacation like never before using Roc Inflatable Paddle Board.

The 10 feet longboard is sturdy enough and easy to control thanks to its triple fins, which add significantly to the board’s overall balance. Moreover, the board is 32 inches wide, so I always kept a comfortable stance and never felt that my legs were crammed together.

When it comes to portability, the board knocks it out of the park. The collapsible design fits perfectly in a compact carry bag to only weigh around 17.5 pounds, making it among the lightest options on the market.

The board comes with all the accessories you need to get started, which adds extra value to your purchase. During my testing, it took me around ten minutes to inflate the board with the included pump, which means I didn’t have to wait too long before jumping into the action.

It also comes with a collapsible aluminum paddle to navigate through the water. Its light yet sturdy design allows you to conquer the waves confidently.

The bungee cords implementation is another small detail that you’d appreciate, especially if you want to pack some personal items with you while enjoying the water’s serenity. The six-point cords offer plenty of space for your diving equipment, favorite beverage, and a waterproof bag where you can keep your smartphone, wallet, and keys.

The bottom line is that Roc managed to strike a balance between offering a well-balanced inflatable board that is accessible to beginners and retaining a light footprint that makes it easily portable. The added accessories deliver a complete package out of the box at an affordable entry price.

Pros
  • Lightweight, well-balanced board
  • The bungee cords offer an excellent storage area
  • It comes with plenty of accessories
Cons
  • The included manual pump can become tedious
  • The light blue color might obscure the board’s visibility in the water

2. SereneLife Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board

2. SereneLife Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board

SereneLife perfected its SUP boards’ formula with an entry that nails both fast-paced wave surfing and the relaxing paddling on idle waters.

The three-fin system delivers exceptional control, allowing you to glide your way over the waves. Moreover, the board comes with a leash that prevents it from being swept away by the waves if you fell. This means that the board will always be close by, allowing you to get up and regain your balance quickly.

Speaking of slips and falls, SereneLife built the board’s top deck from anti-slip materials to make sure you stay on your feet. The board is also cushioned with soft pads to prevent injuries if you get knocked down by a resilient wave.

You don’t have to go solo on your adventures, as the SereneLife board offers enough room for two people. Its sturdy build quality and long 10-feet long body enables you to enjoy your fishing trips, yoga exercise, or just relaxing on the water with a partner.

Like its Roc’s counterpart, the SereneLife board comes with a carry bag, manual pump, and a collapsible paddle. You can find extra accessories like a patch repair kit that helps you keep your inflatable board in good shape and adds to the longevity of your purchase.

My only complaint doesn’t have anything to do with the board itself. The included manual pump can feel tedious, especially if you’re inflating the board all alone without a friend helping you out. Also, the pump doesn’t have any means of determining the pressure inside your board or notifying you when to stop.

All in all, If you’re looking for a SUP board that lets you venture the waters with a partner, SereneLife has the perfect package for you. Its inflatable board has premium build quality, soft padding, and anti-slip top deck for extra feet grip.

Pros
  • Special padding and anti-slip surface for added safety
  • Triple fins for precise steering
  • Suitable for two people
  • Bundled with extra accessories
Cons
  • The included manual pump can be a chore to use

3. iRocker 11’ All Round

iRocker 11

iRocker 11′ All Round Paddle Board Review

There are so many reasons to love the iRocker: it is super rigid, offers outstanding balance and stability, is highly durable, and suits almost any activity.

Moreover, it also looks pretty good. Here we are going to talk about the most important aspects of it, so you can get a good idea of why in my opinion, it’s the best stand-up inflatable paddle board.

Outstanding Quality of Materials

One of the things that stand out is that it’s built with the highest-quality military-grade PVC, that’s why it is very rigid and extremely durable, pretty much like a fiberglass SUP but with the versatility and ease-of-use of an iSUP.

If we pay closer attention, we will see that it comes with a three-layered drop-stitch core that is 6-inches thick, and this is what makes it so stable and balanced. Thickness is an essential feature, and it is pretty good to see that it is thicker than your average inflatable SUP (just 4 inches).

As a note, unlike other iSUPs in this price range, it comes with a 3-fin system that will allow you to glide and paddle easily and smoothly.

Finally, if you are tired of slippery groove decks, you will be happy to know that the iRocker 11” is built with non-slip EVA, making you feel even more stable paddling.

As you can see, it’s equipped with top-notch materials, which translate into superior performance.

Easy to Inflate and Deflate

You can inflate and deflate this paddle board very quickly thanks to its powerful double-action pump. This system allows you to take maximum advantage of the motion because it delivers air during the pull-up and pushes down, significantly reducing the inflating time.

Well-rounded and Perfect for the Whole Family

Thanks to its superior stability and balance, any member of the family can use it without problems. And yes, it’s also very versatile, which means you can use it touring, surfing, yoga, and even fishing.

All in all, it’s an amazing paddle board, and if you take into account its price, you can see that it really over delivers. I can totally recommend it to you!
Pros
  • Extremely rigid (feels like a fiberglass SUP)
  • Outstanding stability and balance
  • Super durable
  • Highly versatile
  • 3-fin system for smooth gliding and paddling
  • Very fast to inflate and deflate thanks to its dual-action pump
Cons
  • The paddle could be better.

4. Zray X2 10’10” Inflatable SUP Board – A Great Choice for the Money

zray x2

Zray X2 Paddle Board Review

Let’s review it according to what it is: an excellent budget-friendly iSUP board. That’s it.

It’d be silly to compare it against other boards like the Supflex 12’6” paddle board, which was designed for racing, or the ISLE Airtech Inflatable 10′ designed with surfing in mind.

Excellent Value for Money

When we talk about cheap products, including paddle boards, then the manufacturers will always try to cut corners somewhere, but the performance of the Zray X2 Inflatable SUP is so solid that you won’t believe it costs so little. Worried about falling off your board all the time? Then forget about it, because it’s very stable. It has a thickness of 6 inches, and its military-grade skin makes it super durable, very sturdy and hence pretty steady.

Another advantage is that it is very lightweight: just 16 pounds. Although I do not recommend it for racing, it will still allow you to achieve a pretty decent speed to have a good time.

A feature that left me pretty surprised is that a whopping 320-pound weight capacity is surprising for a board in this price range. It will easily carry two people without problems, and perhaps your dog?

About the Pump and Accessories

Many times, to keep the costs down, some manufacturers cut corners with the accessories like the pump and the paddle, but it’s so good to know that all the accessories that come with the  Zray 10’10” X2 are top of the line for such a low price.

It won’t take you more than 10 minutes to have this SUP fully inflated. And the same goes for deflating it: it is pretty easy and fast. It has a light-weight aluminum paddle. It is solid and brings you control, which is all you need to start paddling your way through the water with efficiency. On a side note, it looks quite good: the yellow color and the gray waves go really well together, so it is visually attractive.

My verdict: If you are looking for a budget-friendly inflatable stand up paddle board, then the Zray X2 is exactly what you need!
Pros
  • Very low price
  • It includes everything to get started: paddle, pump and bag
  • It’s surprisingly sturdy and durable
  • Amazing weight capacity (320 pounds)
  • Pretty decent stability
Cons
  • It is not very fast
  • I’d not recommend it for surfing

5. ISLE Airtech 10’4″ – Perfect for Yoga

ISLE Airtech

ISLE Airtech SUP Board Review

Inflatable paddle boards are perfect for Yoga, and here you have the absolute champion: the ISLE Airtech 10’4”. Let’s discover why it’s such an excellent SUP.

Superb Stability for Yoga

Practicing yoga in the middle of the sea and listening to the sound of the waves can be one of the most fulfilling and relaxing experiences of your life. Still, such an environment possesses a great challenge: instability. Fortunately, the ISLE Airtech 10’4” solves this problem entirely.

Like the iRocker 11”, it also features a super-thick core of 6 inches and strong construction with military-grade PVC. It means it is very sturdy, highly durable and pretty stable. Moreover, it won’t get damaged easily, so you will be able to use it confidently.

So… why is it better for yoga than the iRocker? It’s simple: the Airtech has been designed especially for yoga and fitness, that’s why it features a wide nose and tail outline so that you can feel plenty of stability and control. Even two people can get on it without problems, just take into account the weight limit (200 pounds).

That’s why it is the best yoga SUP in 2023, thanks to its excellent design and superior stability.

Let’s Talk About the Pump

It comes with a high-pressure pump, but the pumping here is more demanding than with the iRocker iSUP board, simply because it is not double-action, but on average it will take you just 8-10 minutes to fully inflate it.

The pump could be better, that’s right, but you can always invest in an electric pump and save yourself pain inflating it manually.

How Well Does It Glide?

Although we are primarily reviewing with a focus on yoga, it’s important to know if it glides well. Even though I’d not choose it for a race, it’s still pretty good, and this is due to its design which cuts easily through the water and its 3-fin system.

In summary it’s an excellent yoga inflatable stand up paddle board, and yes, for a pretty good price.
Pros
  • Excellent stability and control
  • Very sturdy and durable
  • A huge traction pad on the deck for freedom of movement
  • A pretty attractive design
Cons
  • It doesn’t come with a bag to carry

6. Aqua Marina Breeze – A Beginner’s Perfect Pick

Aqua Marina Breeze

Aqua Marina Breeze Paddle Board Review

There are inflatable stand-up paddle boards that are harder and easier to use, and if you are a beginner, you need to pick something that allows you to start with the right foot, and the Aqua Marina Breeze is a perfect choice.

The Perfect Design for Beginners

One thing that makes it such a good pick for beginners is its size: 9′ 9″. It’s neither too large nor too small, it’s just perfect for you because it allows you to practice touring or recreational activities without problems.

Moreover, it’s 30 inches wide, which brings you plenty of space to lay down and relax. You can even sit down on it and meditate while you listen to the relaxing and peaceful sounds of the waves.

Stability Is Spot On

Although its core is thinner than the Isle Airtech’s and iRocker‘s, it’s still pretty good (4 inches). It makes it highly stable, and combined with the perfect size, will allow you to have a pretty good paddling, as you won’t have to worry so much about falling because this SUP makes things pretty easy for you.

A Nice Deck

It features a beautiful EVA deck with excellent traction and durability, thanks to the honeycomb groove and heat embossed. That’s why it could be a good alternative to the Airtech if you want to save some money and your requirements for yoga are not so demanding.

It Glides Well

The 3-fin system and its design allows it to glide very well, and this is another factor that makes it a good choice for beginners because it’s easy to cut your way through the water with this iSUP board. You achieve a pretty decent speed with this inflatable stand up paddle board and all without losing control.

Therefore, I can recommend it to you if you are a beginner who is looking forward to getting started in this amazing world of paddle boarding on the right foot!
Pros
  • Very affordable
  • Stability is spot on
  • The size is perfect for a beginner
  • Very easy to use
  • Suitable for a myriad of recreational activities
Cons
  • It is not outstanding in any specific (racing or surfing for example)
  • Not recommended for advanced paddlers

Atoll 11

Atoll 11 Paddle Board Review

There’s a kind of inflatable SUP for each kind of activity and person. If you are a fisher looking forward to merging the passion of fishing with paddle boarding, then the incredible Atoll 11’0″ iSUP board will allow you to do so.

Why Is It Perfect for Fishing?

It’s also effortless to maneuver and super light-weight. It’s 30% lighter than your average iSUP, and on top of that, it’s built with two light-weight yet super-durable layers of PVC.

It can pick up a decent speed, so I can say that it glides very well indeed, which you need to explore the area and find the perfect fishing spots. The three fins, excellent paddle and great design of this board make it easy to cut through the water.

8. Supflex 12’6″ Flexrace – The Best for Speed Lovers

Supflex Flexrace

Supflex Felxrace SUP Board Review

Let’s get straight to the point: Why is it good for racing?

Why Is It Perfect for Racing?

Unlike other inflatable stand up paddle boards designed to perform well in several areas, the Supflex 12’6” Flexrace has been designed and built focusing on racing and speed.

The most remarkable feature is its body design: a sharp, defiant and pointy nose that will allow you to cut through the water and achieve an outstanding speed. It’s also 12’ 6”, large enough to bring you the best racing performance. Guaranteed.

You can easily tell that the creators of this board took plenty of care with the details, because it looks like a hard board, and in many senses, performs like one.

Its body shape is the most important feature, but we also need to consider if it’s heavy or lightweight. Fortunately, it is very lightweight, something that will give an edge over your competitors.

It’s also very durable and sturdy thanks to its 6-inch thick core and the two military-grade PVC layers that compose it. You won’t have to be extremely careful with it because it can take quite a bit of damage.

It’s very stable, which is another essential element for any racer, because if you can’t keep the control, you will end up falling into the water.

The 3-piece aluminum paddle is quite good, and this is very important because it will allow you to achieve more speed with less effort.

Therefore, if you are looking for an inflatable stand up paddle board specifically designed for racing, you cannot go wrong with this one.

Let’s Review the Pump

Again, just like the iRocker 11’, it comes with a double-action pump that allows you to pump air to your paddleboard when pushing down and pulling up, so you can get the job done faster and easier!

Tower Xplorer

Tower Xplorer SUP Review

Let’s review why it is an excellent choice if you are a heavy rider who loves to paddleboard!

Outstanding Weight Capacity and Extra Large

If you happen to be a heavy and tall guy, you will love this board because, thanks to its 14 foot and 700-pound weight capacity, you will be able to ride it without problems.

Its extra-large size makes it much more stable, and you probably know that the best biggest problem of tall and heavy riders is stability and control. Still, thanks to the amazing Tower Xplorer 14′ Inflatable SUP you won’t have to worry about it!

Moreover, it is extremely rigid thanks to its military-grade material construction. As the manufacturer states, it’s nearly impossible to destroy it. So, you won’t have to worry about getting it damaged.

The same goes for if you are looking for an inflatable SUP board for your whole family: it is the best the market has to offer! You can get several persons on board without problems.

On a side note, it’s incredible that such an amazing inflatable paddleboard is priced at under $1,000, something that makes it even better.

It Glides Amazingly Well

This board, regarding gliding, has an outstanding performance that will leave you satisfied.

Its body shape allows you to cut through the water with plenty of ease and glide very nicely. Although it has not been designed primarily for surfing, it has a nice performance when riding waves. The same goes for racing, as it can achieve a pretty decent speed.

The paddle is so-so. It is not amazing, yet it gets the job done. You can always take a look at some better paddleboard paddles here.

Is It Easy to Inflate and Deflate?

It is relatively easy to inflate, although the pump could be better. It feels a bit weak and will take a bit longer than inflating the iRocker 11’ paddleboard. Therefore, if you can invest in another double-action, or even better, an electric one, just go for it.

In conclusion: the best choice for heavy riders and families, I totally recommend it to you!

  • The best choice for heavier riders and big guys
  • Outstanding weight capacity (700 pounds!)
  • Extra-large (14 foot)

11. Vilano 12′ – Amazing for Flat Water

Vilano 12

Vilano 12 Paddle Board Review

Let’s see why it is such a hit on flat water.

It has been designed with only one thing in mind: make it super-fast on flat water. And I have to tell you that they have done an amazing job with the Vilano 12′ paddleboard.

Thanks to it you will achieve great speed and cover long distances on flat water with plenty of ease. That’s the goal of this iSUP: take racing and touring on flat water to the next level.

Its pointy nose and slim, body make it perfect for this purpose, so you can propel yourself with the paddle and cut through the water without problems.

And if we talk about stability, then it’s an excellent option. It’s made with the best highest-grade PVC with a Korean drop-stitch construction. Therefore, breaking this inflatable paddle board is almost impossible. It’s pretty much the same thing as a hard board.

Everything in this paddleboard is perfect because even the edges are glued perfectly.

Even though the paddle is not adjustable, it’s quite strong, perfect for powerful strokes.

As you can see, it’s a fantastic choice for flat water in all senses.

Will It Be Easy to Inflate and Deflate?

The pump is quite good. It’s not amazing, but it will help you to inflate your Vilano 12′ very easily. It won’t take you more than 10 minutes in most cases. Deflating it is also a pretty easy thing.

12. Tower Paddle Boards Adventurer

Tower Paddle Boards Adventurer

Buy It Because: It’s The Best Brand Ever

If you haven’t guessed it yet, this is one of the best inflatable SUP brands (at least for me). When you’re on the water, the way it feels is surprisingly similar to when you’re using a hardboard.

It carries the same stability and performance as a solid paddleboard, only at a lower price. If you’re going to compare this to all the other paddleboards in the market, its thickness stands out. Commonly, they’re only at 4 inches thick. Only a skilled adult could make a comfortable board out of it. Not so user-friendly with the newbies. But with this, it’s at around 6 inches thick.

This means it’s superior to most other brands in the market. Also, it’s four times as hard and can carry twice as much weight as the other boards. This makes it an ideal board for both newbies and veterans. Let’s talk about how awesome it is to not being prone to dents and dings. The makers have made sure that other brands won’t top your experience.

You can use this onto rocky shores without any problems. Also, taking on water rapids is easy. You’re assured that no harm is done to your paddleboard. It carries a unique drop stitch construction. To ensure that its strength is long-lasting, they’re using a military grade material. It’s been handled with care throughout its process.

This would also go well for enthusiasts who are at the intermediate level when it comes to skills. Maneuvering the board is as easy as it can get, it works well in water for starters.

Right out of the box, you can tell right away that the board is of high quality. Already a great bargain at this point. You’ll also get a 3-piece adjustable paddle, and to get you started immediately, there’s a hand pump included.

The board can carry up to 350 pounds, it’s more than enough for a man. I usually take my dog with me, sometimes when I feel like it, I bring my friend. It’s fine as long as you consider the limit.

This is an all-around paddleboard. You use it from yoga to flat water paddleboarding. This is relatively one of the best boards for maintaining balance as this is quite wide. It measures 32inches for its base and 6-inches when it comes to thickness. Great inflatable SUP Boards, overall!

Pros
  • Highly Durable
  • Extremely Rigid
  • Portable
  • Easy To Use
  • 2 Year Warranty
  • High-Quality Materials
Cons
  • Deflating is quite difficult.
  • Hand pump is weak.

13. PathFinder Inflatable SUP

Pathfinder inflatable sup

The SUP-er Portable Board

If you’re looking for something to take on a vacation trip, this is the best blow up SUP for you. You can easily carry it with its free backpack. It also comes in with a free hand pump to use.

Unlike other paddle boards which would take a lot of time and effort to inflate, this will only take you 5-10 minutes. Everything about it is easy, you won’t have any concerns about setting this baby up.

The fin is really easy to set up. You’ll like how the paddle is adjustable, you can modify it depending on what the situation calls for. At a glance, it’s pretty hard to distinguish if whether this is an inflatable SUP or a solid board. And it almost has the same weight as a hardboard as well. The only difference is about 10-15 pounds.

For even easier transportation, along with the free backpack, it also has a shoulder strap. All you have to do is clip it on two hooks and you’re all set to go. The experience using it is smooth and buoyant, especially if you’re going to try it on a flat ocean water. It’s versatile, too. It’s compatible with bays, rivers, and other water bodies.

Just like inflating it, deflating is quick and easy. The bag offers more space than you would have thought. You can place in your towels and other knickknacks as well.

Pros
  • Portable
  • Easy Storage
  • Multi-Layer Drop Stitch
  • Large Deck Pad

14. Atlantis Paddle Boards SUP

Atlantis Paddle Boards SUP

One Of The Most Stable Boards Out There

The design is unique and it makes it easy for beginners to get a feel to it right away – that being said, it’s the best inflatable SUP for beginners. It comes with 3 fins, definitely a breakthrough from the usual 1-fin design for an inflatable.

It isn’t just for the show though, it gives it a boost of stability. It means it’s capable of handling 2 people riding it at the same time. It boasts high buoyancy making it a quality paddle board. This has been reinforced with top-grade materials to enhance its rigidness. Its anti-slip deck has more space than the common boards you can find in the market.

This board is really durable. You won’t experience in any cracking or chipping from this gem. The makers used military grade materials so you can use it in any water condition. This includes rocky shores and rapids.

Go take this out for a summer’s ride. No matter how hot the sun is, it’s able to withstand the impossible. Just make sure you’re protected as well. This is a UV resistant board. Just like with the Tower Adventurer, it separates itself from the rest of the group. This is also 6” thick to guarantee you a stable board. This can carry a person who’s at 398 pounds!

It can indeed carry a giant, but its weight is exactly of what it can carry. This is only 35 pounds, anyone can carry it. You can easily slip it in your car trunk without any hassle, storage is not a problem. I would say that it’s a total package and definitely a candidate for the title of best inflatable SUP, especially because of its freebies. It’ll only take you 6 minutes to inflate it. As for deflating, it’s the same timeframe as well.

Pros
  • Carries up to TWO people
  • Makes it easy for beginners
  • Large anti-slip deck
  • Lightweight and Portable
  • Highly Durable
Cons
  • Rolling it is difficult.

15. ISLE Allround 10’6′ Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board

ISLE Allround sup

Lightweight, Easy to Balance Board

Compared to the inflatable product above, this one is conveniently lighter. Of course, you still have the freebies to take home with you. The paddle and pump are of the same quality as the Tower Adventurer, and the price isn’t all that far of a stretch either.

While I do enjoy the two boards, this one has a characteristic which makes it standout. I bought this not too long ago, and while it works perfectly well for me, it’s quite hard to get by with my dad using it.

The weight limit can be a hassle, it can only carry about 200 pounds. Two people can’t use this together unless they’re really thin. But that would just mean they’re both anorexic, so that’s a problem.

Talking about stability, it fairs pretty well. It’s pretty wide, too. Isle comes about 36 inches wide, making balance an easier thing to achieve. This is definitely a good board for beginners, best board for training.

Pros
  • Airtech Construction
  • Usable for All Skill Levels
  • Highly Durable
  • Free Backpack
  • Easy to Transport
Cons
  • Limited weight capacity.

16. Solstice Bali Stand-Up Paddleboard

Solstice Bali

Decent, Affordable Alternative

Most of the time, the problem is usually the budget of getting a new inflatable paddleboard – I admit, they can get costly. Surprisingly, the price of Solstice Bali 35128 is lower than the ones I’ve seen both online and offline.

However, the quality remains the same. To my surprise, comparing this unit to the other products on the list, you get MORE freebies. I’m pleased about my well-functioning pump, paddle, and free nifty bag to top it all off.

It doesn’t matter if you have just started out paddling or not, all skill levels are welcome to use Solstice Bali as their new inflatable paddle boards.

Its strength and durability are quite remarkable, considering the price we bought this for. In fact, it even makes it suitable for all conditions.

I’ve used the paddle, and it’s probably one of the features which hit me the most – and no, not literally. It’s made out of aluminum, using it for propelling myself has been a breeze, considering that it is fairly light.

Before I bought this board, my previous paddleboard was a Sevylor Samoa. While inflatable boards are quite handy as you don’t have to worry about space and portability. Pumping it can be really annoying.

I’m going to admit, filling it with air took me some time. But it was easier than my Sevylor. That makes it a the best inflatable SUP in that area. The board, once it has been pumped, it’s really sturdy and hard. Anyone could have stood on top of it without any problem. I don’t really weigh much so it feels nice. I really like how it doesn’t buckle in the middle, it ticks me off when it does that.

I’m not much of a surfer when I bought this, unfortunately. So I never had the chance to take it for a ride in the surf zone (I gave this to my brother not too long ago, I’m not sure if he’ll let me borrow it.)

So I was mainly stuck with the usual lake and river. For my experience in cruising, it was wonderful. This product is highly buoyant. You can definitely tell them apart from a normal surfboard, I like it!

It being lightweight doesn’t compensate for the paddle’s longevity as well. Also, the makers made sure comfort is given. I appreciate its “T” handle, gripping the handle isn’t a problem. It’s effortless to use.

Pros
  • High-pressure board
  • Rigid and Strong
  • Multi-layer Construction
  • Greatly Reduces Flex
  • Non-slip Traction
  • Sleek, lightweight and fast
  • FREE Carry bag, pump & gauge
Cons
  • It takes time to get used to inflating and deflating.
  • It can only support up to 205 pounds.

17. Aqua Marina Vapor Stand Up Paddle Board

Aqua Marina Vapor

Buy It For The Aesthetics

This is probably the best product on this list aesthetics-wise. I really like how it comes with a unique curved design, you can use it to boast to your friends and family. However, this isn’t all for looks alone.

Two things that Aqua Marina is known for: speed and stability. But you can’t really use the speed part if you’re only using it as a Yoga SUP. On the other hand, I’m not really a fan of Yoga – I find it hard to do weird positions while I’m on my inflatable SUP boards.

I mostly use this for racing. Well, I’m not really a professional, I only challenge my friends. But the results have been amazing! I never lost, although I might have been in 2nd or 3rd place from time to time – never last though.

The tri-fin is detachable, you know what that means, right? You can have the same similar experience no matter what condition you are in.

The board, in general, is pretty easy to use, I love how you’re able to control it perfectly. And I’m not even at the expert level! (I’m slightly above average at my best).

After the day has ended, you can keep it right away. No need to waste an hour trying to figure out how it deflates, you only need about 5 minutes to get it all done.

Pros
  • Unique Design
  • Durable and Strong
  • Easy Aftercare
  • Excellent Traction
  • Backpack for Easy Transportation
Cons
  • I wouldn’t recommend using this for windy weathers.

Buying Guide: What You Need To Know!

inflatable sup buying guide

You need to keep into account certain things at the hour of buying your inflatable paddle board, and this brief yet straight-to-the-point buying guide will show you everything you need to keep into account.

What Are Your Needs?

This list of inflatable paddle board reviews must have made it pretty clear that there is a kind of iSUP for each kind of activity, that’s why you need to define your needs.

This will allow you to save plenty of time and help you find exactly what you are looking for. For instance, if you were looking for an iSUP for big guys, then the Tower Xplorer 14′ would be the way to go.

You need to specify what you are looking for, that’s it.

Check the Dimensions

 sup for kids

It’s vital to check the dimensions but worry not, because right below you will find a pretty easy explanation.

Length

The lengthier your paddleboard is, the faster it will be. That’s a rule of thumb.

That’s one of the main reasons on why the Supflex 12’6″ Flexrace kills the ISLE Airtech 10’4″ when it comes to racing: because the first one is lengthier.

If you are looking for a racing inflatable paddle boards, your best bet is to choose something in the 12-16’ range.

Width

The wider your board is, the more, stable it will be.

But here is the trick: the wider it is, the slower it will be. That’s why racers prefer narrower boards because it rewards them with more speed.

Although, for activities like yoga, touring, fishing, and beginners, it’s better to pick something wider (31+ inches). A good example is the ISLE Airtech 10’4 and the Atoll 11’, both of them are very wide, and hence, super stable. But yes, they are not very fast in comparison to racing iSUPs.

Thickness

When it comes to stand up inflatable paddle boards, thickness is very important. As a minimum, it should be 4-inch thick, but 6 inches is optimal.

That will translate into more stability and control.

Rails

This is very important if you are looking for a surfing iSUP because this will allow you to carve into the waves with ease. Make sure these are present.

Now you have 10 amazing stand up inflatable paddle boards at your disposal, one for each kind of activity. Moreover, you also have a nice buying guide that will guide you in the right direction.
