Get into Volunteering GiV
Get into Volunteering is a new scheme developed by the sports development unit at North East Lincolnshire Council.
GiV is aimed at young people between the ages of 14-16 year olds. The programme provides opportunities for young volunteers to build up hours in a sporting environment and be rewarded when target hours have been reached. The rewards are listed below;
Bronze award - 10 hours Certificate
Silver Award 25 hours GiV T-Shirt
Gold Award 50 Hours GiV Hoody
Hours can be accumulated at after school activities or lunch time practices etc, if you are already a member of a sports club you could volunteer there if you have a senior member of the club who agrees to work with you and sign your hours off.
