What does runningsports do?

We spend our time helping you make the most of yours

The life of a sports volunteer is far from easy. And that's what we're here to fix. Created and funded by Sport England, we support sports volunteers and the people who manage them, and do everything in our power to make sure clubs not only survive, but also grow and thrive.

Whatever sport you're involved in, whichever level you work at, we have a huge number of resources that can help you save time, access funding, attract more members…you name it we can make life easier. What’s more, much of the help we can give you is FREE.

So, how do you take advantage of all this help? All you have to do is join either as a:

Network Member - if you're involved in running a club, team or an event
Official Partner - if you’re responsible for supporting a number of clubs in your area or sport

runningsports workshops

runningsports workshops are the ideal way for you and your volunteers to get to grips with all of the key issues facing you as a volunteer working in sport. Each workshop has been specifically devised by subject specialists who are not only experts in the topic, but also understand how it relates to sports volunteers.

They’re run at convenient times at locations near you and include the opportunity to compare notes with other clubs and sports volunteers in your area. Find out when and where the workshops are taking place with the Workshop Calendar.

runningsports workshops are practical, accessible, and recommended by more than 98% of volunteers who attend them. So they really do work.
