Step into Sport On-line Volunteer Passport (SiS VP).
The Youth Sport Trust and Sport England are delighted to announce the launch of the Step into Sport On-line Volunteer Passport (SiS VP). The passport has been designed to provide a simple way for young volunteers to register as a volunteer and log their hours whilst also providing school mentors and club volunteer co-ordinators with a quick and easy way of verifying volunteering hours undertaken by their young volunteers and track their progress.
You can access the SiS VP via www.youthsporttrust.org by clicking on the SiS VP tab. This will take you through to the home site and prior to receiving your full registration pack you will be able to access the on-line tutorial video’s which include short films with simple instructions on how to use the site.
Packs will include the following information, which will support you in using the on-line site;
- instructions on how to register onto the site.
- Copy of the On-line Tutorials on DVD (this will ensure you can show these to any volunteer co-ordinators or young people even if you do not have internet access for training purposes).
- CSP Voucher Code
The registration process is very simple and should not be time consuming. It is important however that you spend some good time watching the on-line tutorials (DVD), make yourself familiar with the registration process and digest the FAQ’s.
