Please find attached the Disability Sport Events (DSE) Track and Field ‘classifications’ which will enable you to ‘convert’ DSE Profiles to DSE Classes. If you can circulate this information to your contacts within schools, clubs and volunteer networks who are involved with Disability Athletics I would appreciate I greatly.

The DSE National Junior Athletics Championships 2010 on the 3rd / 4th of July 2010 will be run using this new system with a view to providing guidance as to which IPC classification athletes would potentially fit.

The National Championships will continue to include those athletes whose profiles does not ‘fit’ the IPC pathway and we will continue to support, develop and champion disability athletics for everyone regardless of their ability.

The DSE Regional Championships will be run using the DSE profiles with these conversion charts used when completing the entry forms for the National Championships.

The entry standards for the National Championships are being worked on currently and will be available by the end of February.
