OCN Level 2 Award in Visual Awareness and Sport
This is a 1 credit course (10 guided learning hours) which equates to 6 hours on course delivery plus 4 hours individual post course assessment tasks which need to be submitted electronically to the tutor.
The on course delivery is split between theory and practical sessions with the learning outcomes being:
1. Know the main courses of visual impairment and some effects.
2. Understand the roles and skills of a sighted guide.
3. Understand how to adapt sports session to include visually impaired participants.

Time: 10.00am – 5pm
Due to Skills Enhancement Funding, the cost of this course is only £60 per person (with a further 10% reduction applied to groups of 10 or more attending from the same organisation).
