ASA / UKCC Level 1 Teaching Swimming – e-learning Units 1 & 2
Those who are interested in supporting the teaching programme in a learn to swim environment. Achievement of this certificate will qualify you to operate as a support teacher.

Please find attached flyer and registration form for a L1 e-learning course at South Hunsley on 26/27/28 October. The e-learning element consists of Unit 1, with the first day being an assessment of the learned material. Registration forms need to be with the IoS no less than two weeks prior to the start of the course (12th October), due to candidates being sent the e-learning material and completing the work. We have also attached the grant aid form

Swimming Bursaries

The swimming allocation of the Yorkshire and Humber coaching bursary has now been reached, until the bursary’s are allocated again there will be no more funding from this pot.

Tennis referee courses in the North Lincolnshire area
Two Tennis referee courses are due to run in the North Lincolnshire area
One is a basic introductory seminar course to be held at Grange Park Tennis Club, Messingham, near Scunthorpe on Tuesday 28 September and the second is the Referee Accreditation course which gives candidates the opportunity of taking the test in order to qualify as an ABTO recognised Tennis referee. (There is no fee for these courses.)
