Training and development opportunities to assist volunteers and coaches in clubs across the Humber
The Humber Sport Partnership is committed to supporting both the paid and voluntary workforce that support the development of clubs across the Humber through providing a regular programme of training and development opportunities.
Central to this is our coach education programme, Courses For All, that recognises the role of sport coaches and how they contribute daily to the success of sport from grass roots participation to the very top of international competition. A great coach, like a great teacher inspires, motivates and leads. They have a range of skills and knowledge which is called upon daily to make the experience of coaching special. The programme offers all coaches the opportunity to partake in courses that are required not only for accreditation purposes but also for their own continued professional development.
To further support the coach education programme, CoachWeb is a new development tool, which coaches can register on to ensure they are kept fully up to date with the latest developments and opportunities available in the Humber region.
