Over the past 12 months I have established strong links with all our key partners enabling me to provide business support to them in many areas. Areas of my work include:
Finance, funding
Providing quarterly budget reports for the HSP Executive Board and Sport England. Monitoring any funding, both incoming and outgoing and reconciling these back on a six monthly and yearly basis to Sport England.
First point of contact for the HSP
Within the past 12 months I have been the first point of contact for the HSP.
Office systems and procedures
The past 12 months has been a busy time for the HSP, setting up all new office systems and putting procedures in place to try and ensure that the HSP runs as effectively as possible and enables us to work strongly with all our key partners.
Event management
Part of my role is to lead on any events and ensure that they are organised and run effectively, some of these to date have being CIF training, Board meetings, Operations Groups meetings, Coaching Seminars, Step into Sport Conference, Safeguarding Seminars, Coach Education Courses and the HSP Annual Conference
Performance Management (Community Sports Coaches Phase 1 and 2)
Working closely to ensure that targets are met and KPI's are reported and are on target and reported to Sport England on a quarterly basis.
Active People
The Active People Survey is the largest ever survey of sport and active recreation to be undertaken in Europe.
The survey provides by far the largest sample size ever established for a sport and recreation survey and will allow levels of detailed analysis previously unavailable. It identifies how participation varies from place to place and between different groups in the population. Recently I have been working on an "Active Humber" publication which will help our key partners to reach out key priorities and targets in the Humber.
Coach Education Programme
Within the Humber we offer over 110 courses to support ongoing development and knowledge, part of my role is to co-ordinate the bookings for the HSP.
Standards - Child Protection, Equality and Towards an Excellence Service
Provide support for the key areas of Child Protection, Equality and Towards and Excellence to Service.
