“Making Coaching Work” 1st Annual Coaching Forum
This a special forum for Coaches, everyone from volunteer club coaches to professionals, to develop their skills and further enhance their knowledge of coaching
This event is being held on 7th July 2009 5.45pm— 9.00pm at the University of Hull Sports and Fitness Centre, Inglemire Lane, Hull, HU6 7TS
Due to the success of Services2Sport over the last 12 months we have great pleasure in welcoming you to our 1st annual coaching forum, “Making Coaching Work”. We recognise that sports coaches are one of the key success factors in our drive to increase participation and improve performance within sport . We have taken this opportunity to bring everyone together to share new ideas and opportunities which will help develop coaching within the Humber , so please come and join us for what I’m sure will be an exciting and informative event.
The aim of the event is to support the development of the Coaching Workforce in the Humber by:
- Raising awareness of areas which effect the quality of coaching
- Provide educational opportunities around new innovative ways of practice
- Developing key skill areas of coaching
- Raising the profile and understanding of Services2Sport its role and the opportunities it provides
- Developing knowledge on key subject areas
- Highlight good practise and sharing the learning outcomes
- Supporting coaches through hot topics
A varied and exciting event programme has been pulled together with a range of workshops, both practical and theory with special Key Note Speakers: Mark Nesti Team Psychologist and Brian Horton Assistant Manager from Hull City AFC.
